PADI Divemaster is the first rung on the ladder as a diving professional. This is a leadership qualification
which will open doors worldwide.

As a Divemaster, you will be able to lead certified divers on tours, guide Open Water students on some
of their open water dives, assist Instructors with all courses from Open Water Diver, through Adventure
Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver and all the Specialties.

In addition, you will be able to conduct Scuba Reviews
independently of a PADI Instructor as well as a number of other
programs.

More importantly, it provides you with a broad base of
information and experience on which to base your progression,
during which you will be a role model for other, less experienced
divers.

Divemaster is also the important first step to becoming a PADI
Instructor will stand you in good stead for the PADI Instructor
Development Course (IDC).

This is an intensive course and you get out what you put into it.
