Experienced divers are all too aware of the thrill of the ocean depths, descending the slopes of underwater mountains, exploring the eerily silent decks of long-forgotten shipwrecks, or tackling spectacular undersea cliffs which suddenly drop to seeming infinity. But not all dive sites require such daring. There are areas where diving to just 4 metres, novices can enjoy interaction with wildlife.

There are coral gardens of unimagined colour just below the surface, and there are beautiful sub-sea sanctuaries where the 'locals' are as inquisitive as their visitors. In short, there are as many reasons to dive as there are fish on the reefs. 

Much more than simply a sport, scuba diving opens a new window on the world, revealing treasures seen by only a few. For first-time divers, it's hard to imagine more encouraging starting points than are littered throughout the pages of this website.
