A programme of UK dive charters has been organised for the 2009 diving season.

In conjunction with Wightdiver Ltd, we have put together a programme of weekend day diving and also
a comprehensive programme of Wednesday evening dives.

Wightdiver operates from the Hayling Ferry pontoon in Eastney, Portsmouth which has easy access
and ample free car parking (click here for directions to Eastney).

Wightdiver is a 38-foot Cygnus Revenge licensed by the MCA to operate up to 60 miles from any safe haven.

With a beam of over 4 metres she has in excess of 30 square metres of deck space and is one of the largest vessels in her class. Every diver has a seat that will support their tanks with storage for bags and stage cylinders underneath. Set up all of your equipment before leaving the mooring whilst the boat is still and when you arrive at the dive site, simply sit down, strap on your gear and go diving!

Powered by a 650 HP Iveco engine she has a cruising speed of 19 knots and a top speed of 25 knots getting you out to those distant sites with the minimum of fuss.

Safety equipment includes a drop cylinder of 80% Nitrox and an Oxygen unit. First aid kit, flares, gas and bilge alarms, lifejackets and life rafts
for 14 people are also carried.

Wightdiver is also fully equipped with the very latest electronics including 2 plotters, 2 GPS units, a DSC VHF radio, 3D radar, autopilot, and colour sounder. With seating inside the fully heated wheelhouse, this all amounts to a safe and enjoyable day at sea.

A rear transom door allows easy access to the water by walking through and stepping off on the "signal". The diver lift makes easy work of recovery; simply step on and let the winch lift you up to deck level where the crew will then assist you to your seat. So at the end of your dive, there's no more having to climb ladders or "bunk" onto RIB's.

The boat is equipped with heating inside the wheelhouse for those colder days and a deck awning to protect from the wind and rain or sun and spray. Dry bags are stored in the forward cabin, so there is no excuse for being uncomfortable.

A toilet cubicle is fitted at deck level with a flushable toilet, about as civilised as you can get on a boat. Soft drinks, water and snacks are available for purchase from the onboard fridge. Free tea and coffee are available all day.

We think that Wightdiver represents one of the fastest, most comfortable and "diver friendly" boats operating out of the central south coast.

Come dive from her with us and we think you'll agree!

please note

All dives are naturally, weather dependent and diving is conducted at the sole discretion of the boat's skipper, who has the final say. Safety is the obvious priority.

We will take contact numbers at the time of booking so that, in the event that the dives are weathered off, we can let those booked know. Refunds of any monies paid will be made in this event.
